Travel from Muscat in a small 4x4 group with an English-speaking guide such as Mohammed, Hamood, or Salim. Visit Safari World Zoo in Ibra, cross Wahiba Sands, watch sunset from the dunes, and finish with an Omani dinner at a desert camp. Check which extras are included before booking.
“It was a magical experience , the transport , our driver and our group . The zoo is larger than expected need at least 1.5 hours to see it comfortably. The camel short ride and our guide was an enjoyable experience. The only negative I have is all the hidden extras and with New Years Eve everything was at least 3 x more expensive. The journey there is approx 2.5 hours each way. We left at 12.30 pm and arrived back at accomodation 11 pm.”
